Proposed Fresh Pond Road-Myrtle Avenue Historic District
Flyer-Historic District
GRRC is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 dedicated to preserving and upgrading the housing stock of Ridgewood and its neighboring communities (Glendale, Middle Village and Maspeth) in Queens Community Board 5.
Our programs are aimed at providing overall community development improvements to raise the quality of life, maintain stability, assist tenants to remain in their homes, and preserve valuable housing stock through improved management, and removing graffiti.
Many of Ridgewood’s side streets are lined with single-family homes and almost all have stoops. These same stoops brought the Queens neighborhood together during the pandemic. Read more https://www.brickunderground.com/live/neighborhood-secrets-what-to-know-about-living-in-ridgewood-queens
The Greater Ridgewood Restoration Corp. was awarded a $10,000 grant to help the organization add a new district to the national historic register. Read More on https://ridgewoodpost.com/greater-ridgewood-restoration-corp-awarded-10000-grant
